There is a lot to like about this weighted blanket. The fabric is soft and quite pleasant to touch, though weighted blankets are seldom the top blanket anyway. The weight is just right, and the size, when turned sideways, has perfect coverage for a king bed. I do not like my feet to be under the weighted blanket, as it pushes them down. I prefer the weighted blanket to cover my torso and legs only.

It's amazing how the blanket really doesn't feel that heavy when you're actually using it. Even though you may move around, the blanket stays still so it doesn't fall in the floor. It is thick but really isn't really hot with the blanket by itself, but the velvet cover does add warmth like you would expect from a regular blanket. The weighted blanket adds another level of cozy to your sleeping experience. It takes a little getting used to, and makes changing the sheets a little more cumbersome, but worth it. The velvet covering is easy to remove and wash.
